UPDATE
it is cold and gloomy in the Bay Area. totally effects my mood and motivation. trying to rally.
other news? I have a new job. starting May 29th.
I am very relieved and happy and excited.
there is a lot to wrap up here and the change will be an adjustment.

Thanks BG & J - it's good news, but it is a definitely a situation where there are pros and cons, and I had to make a choice hoping it is the right one....

I think blogs should have an app that makes them look like the lights are off, so you know it's closed... because even if there's a closed sign, the lights are still ON! And it's confusing... and kind of sad. They should not be warm and inviting if no one is there.

I disagree. I was just thinking today that I am gonna enjoy dropping random comments into Final Fish Post in the coming weeks and months, just to see who is still checking in. Like a fishy-smelling Goobie thread. And yank his email notification chain; hopefully during meetings.

I actually cannot comment at Pinkos. When I click on one of the fields, I can type in it, but field goes blank when I go to the next one. When I submitted a comment, it said I didn't answer the math question.

If she is, you have to find the book about fairy houses in Maine... or something like that. It's a great book, and the lamblets (especially EL) spent many, many years grooving on the natural aspect of the fairies... not the totally contrived aspect.
She had some fairy handbook that was based on "real fairy info"... we did a lot of fairy stuff back then... Sweet times.
The bunnies that are growing up outside my window are getting big enough that they feel confident not scurrying like a spaz from plant to plant. This is usually when the hawks hit. :(

the game itself doesn't seem that daunting, computer-wise, but the load when connecting to battle.net gets a little steep, I think, especially when you have like 800 imps chasing you...

it also included downloading the installer, which then informed me that I didn't have enought drive space for the game.
and there was an initial prob with my video driver so we had to look into that as well, though that ended up being fine once the whole thing got installed.
good thing my barbarian abs of steel are not vulnerable to injury GIVEN THAT THEY ARE COMPLETELY EXPOSED
great - just as i get frustrated as possible with Diablo II (i thought i'd get it going again after i gave up ~7 years ago) i know there's even more waiting once i finish and get into III(if ever)

I haven't been able to get back into Diablo 2 because OS X Lion no longer supports PowerPC apps. I have a couple of older G3s I am going to set up, but I need a new monitor.
I am playing as a monk, because he resembles a certain local blogger; he's big, he's bad....that's all I'm going to say.
He also has a wicked 'lashing tail kick' which I know as a spin reverse heel kick.

actually, there's a pretty good mix of female NPCs in Diablo, many of them integral to the story....although as Kathleen pointed out, with questionable taste in battle fashion.

Also, other Diablo geeking for Pinko: make sure your wireless mouse won't poop out on battries in the middle of a battle.
