I haven't read any of them. I bought ZOO CITY, but haven't gotten to it yet. And I checked out THE NIGHT CIRCUS from the library but had to return it before I could read it, and then re-sign up for the queue.

What Literature Owes the Bible had me thinking of a friend who is a writer, but who had absolutely no religious education of any kind growing up... so many analogies, references, etc, were lost on her. Although I curse mine religious background daily, it has come in very handy when reading.
