Somebody wants to see Jurassic Park...
~

SO! CUTE!

"Can I seeeeee that movie???"

I love the hesitation... "Uh... I don't remember the name of the movie... where the T-Rex eats the lawyer hiding in the porta-potty..."

:)

Has she seen Dinosaur? Although, on second thought, maybe she's too young. It's a kids' movie. I remember the lamblets liking it when they went through their dinosaur stages.

She's SO CUTE, Kathleen... what a peach, and what a great age.

yeah that was classic. You walked into that one Grandpa. :)

I'll check out that movie J. she may be too little still. She was still excited/scared at the animatronic dinosaurs at the Lawrence Hall of Science here.

I remember when young zombie was too scared by the animatronic dinosaurs to go into that part of the museum.

Now he's taller than I am, he's on his second long-term girlfriend, and looking at colleges.

Zombie am depressed now.

OMG
Smushy smushy doll face!!
I totally forgive her musical tastes!!!

That's the beauty of dinosaurs... they're simultaneously terrifying and exhilirating- life writ large.

I've never gotten over the "dinosaur stage".

Dinosaurs and Darth Vader do not scare my nephew, who is a little older, but The Incredibles terrifies him. He runs in fear from the dvd's case.

EL has been in love with Sue since she first saw her some 11 years ago as 4 yr-old... but Scooby Doo on Zombie Island?? That left lifetime scars, and many sleepless nights.

The animation falls squarely into the uncanny valley.

There's a show called Dinosaur Train on PBS that's not too bad. No eating each other.

Kathleen, has B seen "We're Back! A Dinosaur Story?"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108526/

Thought maybe that's what she was talking about in the video. If she hasn't seen it, I can attest to the fact that BK was obsessed with it around B's age.

She is soooooooo cute, Kathleen! How fun!!!! And she's at a PERFECT age. Little enough to still be a baby but old enough to really know what's going on and voice her opinion. I wish we lived closer. I'd come over and play with her!

And those are your parents in the videos, right? That is SO SPECIAL. A close relationship like that is so important. We visited BK at school on Sunday and he was saying how awful and rude / crude the two boys are to girls in the dorm room next door. And he said something like, "Every time I hear how they talk to girls, how they treat them, I think of Boppa and what he would think of that."

And you know Boppa would NEVER APPROVE.

It's just so good for their little personhood and character building to have grandparents around who love them so much and teach them important things!

Blah, blah. I'm rambling.

Love B!

Have to say one more thing. Check out "We're Back" first before B sees it. Now that I think about it, we let BK see stuff so early all the time. I remember that movie being innocent, but God only knows!

I'll check out the movie Aunt BG! ;)
I'd so love it for you to come over and play with B!

and yes those are my folks. We are very very lucky.

thanks everyone for love to my B. It makes me happy to share her specialness. love to you all.

That is just a bundle of awesome right there.
